A bit About Katy...
I am currently earning my master’s degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy at Lewis &
Clark Graduate School. My academic and professional experiences are shaped by my deep
appreciation for the ways our relationships, identities, and lived experiences influence how we
move through the world. I would describe my approach to therapy as gentle, curious, and
collaborative, with an emphasis on creating a space where clients feel safe enough to explore
what matters most to them.
I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Satir’s Growth Model to support
individuals, couples, and families in deepening their emotional experiences and strengthening
their understanding of self. I aim to help clients access their emotions with more clarity,
compassion and confidence. My approach is identity‑affirming, sex‑positive and
trauma‑informed. Grounded in the belief that people thrive when they feel seen, heard and
understood. I strive to meet each client with respect and attunement, honoring the unique
stories and strengths they bring into the room.
I work with clients of all ages navigating anxiety, depression, trauma and grief, as well as those
seeking greater connection, resilience, and personal growth. I feel honored to walk alongside
clients as they make sense of their experiences, reconnect with their inner resources, and move
toward more fulfilling ways of relating to themselves and others.
