A Bit About Faynesha...
Hello! My name is Faynesha Haragan, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (MFT) with a special interest in relationships, sexuality, and self-discovery. I focus on supporting individuals, couples, children, and families. I am dedicated to creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can take place. Coming from a very diverse community, with a background in Mindfulness Meditation, my passion is continuing to grow and understand myself and others around me.
I have a bachelor’s in psychology from Capella University and I am currently completing a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have extensive experience coaching diverse clients and am particularly knowledgeable about the intricacies of polyamorous and monogamous relationships. Whether you are navigating the challenges of multiple partnerships or exploring the depths of a committed one, I am here to provide guidance, understanding, and support.
In addition to relationships, I am passionate about helping individuals of all sexual orientations and identities embrace and celebrate their authentic selves. I understand the unique struggles that can arise when exploring one's sexuality, and I am committed to providing a space where you can openly discuss your desires, concerns, and questions. I also have a special interest in helping neurodiverse individuals navigate and understand their unique needs.
My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your specific needs. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Collaborative and Satir. Together, we will work towards identifying your goals, developing coping strategies, and fostering healthier patterns of communication and intimacy.
I believe that therapy is a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. It takes courage to seek support, and I commend you for taking this step. I offer a warm and accepting environment where you can explore your emotions, work through challenges, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.
