A Bit About Catie...
Hi there! My name is Catie Hardman (she/her) and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington an an Associate in Oregon. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from George Fox University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Warner Pacific College. My passion lies in working with young children and their parents, teen girls, survivors of intimate partner and family violence, and especially individuals and families of non-dominant identities.
My primary focus is on treating trauma and anxiety, stressed relationships, struggles with low self-esteem, and identity exploration. I hold specialized training in intimate partner and family violence through the YWCA of Clark County and Washington State Coalition, trauma informed care and crisis response, Multicultural Trauma Treatment, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Circle of Security Parenting, and in treating mental health struggles in children and individuals on the spectrum.
I am currently in the process of becoming an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. Personally, I identify as a bi-sexual female and culturally as Lakota Sioux Indian and white. I have a partner of almost three years and a vivacious six- year-old daughter by love.
