A Bit About Misti...

Hello, my name is Misti Patrella (she/her). For the ten years before becoming a therapist, I worked as a certified life coach, supporting people in achieving their life and work goals, regardless of what they believed held them back.

Whether you are struggling with losing your way (existential crisis), dealing with relationship issues, experiencing loss, facing big life changes, or grappling with something that feels outside of your control, I can help. I also have experience in helping people process old hurts and traumas that feel difficult to overcome. Additionally, I can provide support in moving forward from divorce, overcoming people-pleasing habits, managing anxiety and stress, and finding solutions to feelings of being stuck and overwhelmed.

Are you wanting to commit to your partner and/or get married? I am certified in Prepare/Enrich, a customized, non-religious, committed partnership/marriage preparedness program designed to help you and your partner prepare for the commitment you are undertaking together. You will understand how each of you views important topics that support your long-term relationship and work through differences before they become problems.

In my view, therapy begins with establishing a strong relationship between the client and the therapist. Trust, compassion, and empathy form the foundation upon which everything else is built. It is my role to create a safe environment for you to explore your thoughts and emotions. I strive to cultivate an atmosphere of non-judgment, allowing you to discover the answers that work best for you. I am here to support you in gaining deep awareness, healing, and achieving the most positive outcomes.

Personally, I love spending time in my veggie garden, cooking, reading, and writing. I feel lucky to live between the mountains and the beaches—the best of both worlds. Along with my wonderful kids, my partner and I have four dogs and a whole gaggle of chickens.
