A Bit About Misti...
Hello, my name is Misti Patrella (she/her). I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern at Capella University. For the past ten years, I have worked as a certified life coach, supporting people in achieving their life and work goals, regardless of what they believe holds them back.
I believe that the life you desire wants you just as much. Whether you are struggling with losing your way (existential crisis), dealing with relationships issues, loss, other big life changes, or something that feels outside of your control, I can help. I particularly enjoy assisting individuals in managing their relationships with greater empowerment. Additionally, I can provide support in moving forward from divorce, overcoming people-pleasing habits, managing anxiety and stress, finding solutions to feeling stuck and overwhelmed, and navigating relationships with partners or family members who have mental health issues.
In my view, therapy begins with establishing a strong relationship between client and therapist. Trust, compassion, and empathy form the foundation upon which everything else is built. It is my role to create a safe environment for you to explore your thoughts and emotions. I strive to cultivate an atmosphere of non-judgment, allowing you to discover the answers that work best for you. I am here to support you in gaining a deep awareness, healing, and achieving the most positive outcomes for both you and your life.
Personally, I love being in my veggie garden, cooking, reading, and writing. I feel lucky that I live between the mountains and the beaches - the best of both worlds. My partner and I have 4 dogs and a whole gaggle of chickens.
