A Bit About Angelee...
Hello! My name is Angelee Berrian (she/her). I am a Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington. I earned my Master’s from George Fox University in Portland.
Affirming and authentic relationships are crucial to survival and wholeness; I’m passionate about supporting parents who struggle with anxiety or frustration in their role, and I work with couples who are seeking deeper connection and restoration. In my work with individuals, I integrate creative and expressive therapies to help clients experience the value of play and process-over-product. My approach is based on experience & training in the following: Attachment Theory, Systems Theory, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Existential Therapy, Intuitive Eating, Incredible Years Parent Program, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.
I address the following concerns in my work with individuals, couples, and families: body-image & identity, burnout, spiritual & religious trauma or questioning, relational and communication difficulties, parenting, life transitions & grief, childhood emotional neglect, perfectionism, anxiety & existential questions. With curiosity and compassion, we’ll examine patterns that hinder self-acceptance, nourishing relationships, and whole-body living. We’ll uncover and hold some big questions to get to the heart of what kind of life is most meaningful to you.
