Jessie Rayburn

A bit About Jessie...

I am a Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy Intern currently earning my master’s degree at Lewis & Clark College, where I am specializing in sex therapy. I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Diego State University, with a minor in Counseling and Social Change. My previous work experience has primarily been in education, supporting children with neurodivergence and learning differences—an experience that continues to shape how I understand and honor each person’s unique way of being in the world.

I would describe my therapy presence as warm, nonjudgmental, curious, and collaborative. My intention is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen and supported as you move toward a life that feels more aligned and alive to you. I deeply believe that humans grow best in relationships where we feel safe enough to be our authentic selves and empowered enough to try something new. My lens is trauma-informed, emotionally focused, and experiential in nature, honoring the body-mind-spirit connection and drawing primarily from Satir’s Human Growth Model to support deeper self-awareness and more meaningful connection—with yourself, others, and the world. I aim to help you slow down and connect with your inner world—your emotions, patterns, and meanings—while also making sense of the larger systems that have shaped you. From that place of deeper understanding, we can begin to expand your sense of choice and enlivening possibilities.

I welcome individuals, families, couples, and people in all relational structures, including consensual/ethical non-monogamy, kink-affirming, and other non-traditional dynamics. I’m especially passionate about helping people deepen emotional intimacy, strengthen their sexual wellbeing, navigate ADHD, integrate plant medicine experiences, move through life transitions and identity formation, and make sense of relational or internal conflict. I also support those working through anxiety, depression, and self-esteem challenges, with the belief that these experiences always make sense in context and can be gently transformed.

Wherever you are starting from, I’d be honored to walk beside you in this stage of your life’s journey.
