A Bit About Katie...
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. I received my training at Lewis & Clark Graduate School and have my Bachelor’s in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as well. I would describe my approach to therapy as curious, collaborative, and non-judgemental.
I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy and Interpersonal Neurobiology to help clients deepen self-awareness, strengthen connection, and create more flexible ways of relating—to themselves, others, and their environment. My approach is individualized, identity-affirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that people grow best in relationships where they feel safe, seen, and supported.
I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating issues related to complex trauma, chronic pain, and neurodivergence. I especially enjoy working with people who’ve tried therapy before and are still seeking something that “clicks,” or are forging paths outside dominant norms and are looking for a space that honors that complexity.
