Couples & Family Therapy in Oregon & Washington
Relationships can be a source of connection, support, and belonging, but they can also become places where we feel stuck, misunderstood, or disconnected. Couples and family therapy can help you better understand the patterns shaping your relationships and develop new ways of communicating, connecting, and navigating challenges together.
Our therapists work with couples, partners and families throughout Oregon and Washington, including LGBTQIA+ relationships, polyamorous and non-monogamous relationships, blended families, parents and children, and people navigating many different relationship structures.
You Don't Have to Wait Until Your Relationship Is in Crisis
Couples and family therapy isn't only for relationships that are falling apart. You may want support navigating a specific challenge, understanding patterns that keep repeating, strengthening communication, rebuilding trust, adjusting to a major life transition, or simply creating a more connected relationship.
Sometimes everyone involved wants the relationship to improve but finds themselves returning to the same arguments, misunderstandings, or roles despite their best efforts. Therapy can provide space to slow these patterns down, understand what is happening underneath them, and practice relating to one another differently.

Our Approach to Couples & Family Therapy
Our therapists consider the individual experiences each person brings into the relationship as well as the relational, familial, cultural, and systemic patterns that shape how people connect.
Our clinicians draw from approaches including Emotion-Focused Therapy, systemic and family therapy, attachment-based therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gottman-informed approaches, and other relational methods depending on the therapist and the needs of each relationship or family.
Therapy is collaborative and tailored to the people in the room. The goal isn't to determine who is "right," but to better understand the patterns occurring between you and create opportunities for greater communication, safety, understanding, and connection.
