Trauma Therapy in
Oregon and Washington
Trauma can shape how you experience yourself, your relationships, and the world around you long after the experience itself has passed. Our trauma therapists work with adults and teens navigating complex trauma, childhood trauma, relational and attachment wounds, abuse, difficult relationships, and other experiences that continue to affect their lives.
We offer trauma-informed online therapy throughout Oregon and Washington, with approaches tailored to each person's experiences, needs, and goals.
You Don't Have to Call it Trauma to Get Help
Not everyone who benefits from trauma therapy identifies with the word “trauma.” You may simply notice that certain experiences, relationships, or patterns continue to affect you in ways that are difficult to understand or change.
You might find yourself becoming overwhelmed during conflict, shutting down when emotions become intense, struggling to trust other people, feeling responsible for everyone around you, or relying heavily on control and self-sufficiency. You may understand intellectually that you're safe while noticing that your body seems to respond differently.
Trauma therapy can create space to understand where these patterns came from, how they may have helped you survive or adapt, and what you want to carry forward now.

Our Approach to Trauma Therapy
There is no single approach to trauma therapy that works for everyone. Our therapists draw from a range of evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches. These may include EMDR, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, somatic approaches, and other relational and experiential methods.
Our therapists consider both individual experiences and the relational, cultural and systemic environments in which those experiences occurred. We recognize that experiences related to identity, culture, gender, sexuality, race, disability, body size, socioeconomic circumstances, religion, and systems of care can shape both trauma and healing.
Our clinicians work to understand your individual experience, adapt to your needs, and create a compassionate and safe environment.
